This accessibility statement applies to DEFRA Poultry Registration service website.

This website is run by DEFRA. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts
  • zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software

We know that there are three WCAG 2.1 AAA level items remaining from the audit carried on 21st September 2023, which are as follows:

  • some links are not descriptive when navigating out of context using screen reading software (WCAG 2.1 - 2.4.9 Link Purpose (Link Only). Level AAA)
  • some links may open in a new tab without giving the user prior warning (WCAG 2.1 - 3.2.5 Change on Request. Level AAA)
  • some colours used may not meet requirements (WCAG 2.1 - 1.4.6 Contrast (Enhanced). Level AAA)
